Sight.
Because my biggest passion in life is photography,I would be pretty screwed up without it!
Just reading the name makes my ears and eyes burn simultaneously. UGH.
Things like Twilight, which have odd and rather disturbing underlying concepts. Most things, however,I think teens should have access too, in order to educate themselves about different issues and whatnot whether it be fiction or non-fiction.
Sex ed. books aren't taken seriously in the libraries at high school, and my 12 year-old self can vouch for that. Maybe they should be withdrawn and only used in sex ed classes. Idk =/
Of course it has! When you're a teenager, your hormones dictate EVERYTHING, hence why robert pattinson has to run away from his fans (sorry for the name-drop but it does make me snigger). When I was, like, 13-14 I was just attracted to guys who were rather good-looking, I never considered anything else. I'd just admire these guys from a distance and I'd guess their personality for day-dreaming's sake.
These days,I know there is so much more, and things like age gaps (as long as youre safely on the same side of retirement age!) shouldn't really matter. Has long as you're both happy, that is what matters in the long run.
Mum came downstairs telling me about the other seasons she's not letting me have until xmas/my birthday on the 25th. What does she do? SHE SPOILS THE DAMN TING FOR ME. >=[
I was only discussing with my photography buddies in class this morning that she told me the ending of the final Harry Potter book against my will (she blurted it out in Asda, and I was livid. She hadn't even read book number 2 yet,but she still wanted to know the ending to the 7th >=[), and now she's spoilt a crucial plotline in supernatural for me. Unimpressed.
In Photography, Tim from the forum came in, and he told us what ways our work can be displayed on the screen with various editing techniques (fade-outs and whatnot). He liked my photo of the police in the marketplace. He said it reminded him of photos from the '50s. I've never actually looked at photography from the '50s, so maybe I should google it!
if you wanna see the photo in question:

then there you go :P
We got freebie USB pens too, haha. They don't hold alot of data, but anything is better than nothing, right?
Next week,Im gagging to get into the city and try and wrap up my current artist case study. I'm wanting to make some collages with urban portraits and whatnot. I'm feeling a little like a stress-head over it. Which maybe explains my fatigue!
Scott gets his new car next week. We are VERY excited. I say 'we' because I can't wait to pimp the thing out on my side of the car . Y'nkwo a hello kitty air freshener here, a pile of art magazines there... XD
s'all good!
Although he hates them, Im going to make him a mix cd as a present, and I want it to be the first cd he plays in the car! I'm so tempted to thro the Spice Girls in there somewhere for lols. XD
anyway,Im starting to get bored of journaling for the moment, although I have other things which I really wanna write about!
-Peace x
I'd be both amused and bewildered. Kristen Stewart smokes the trippy stuff and Katie Price has sucha big pair, my SO would probably suffocate. It'd make me wonder if he had a death wish!
If it were vice versa...I dont know, haha. I have too much respect for celebrities I like. Im no groupie, bahaha XD
ahh this post was fun. XD
Alot of People liked mine and Scott's masks. I knew they would be worth investing in! XD
I spent most of the night with Scott's friends. I was really shy though, as I am with alot of new people. I was scared they would think I was being rude or obnoxious! I did enjoy myself and did get to know a few of his friends!
I didn't actually spend any money, as Scott bought me a coke, and I sipped on other peoples' drinks, haha! We jumped the MASSIVE queue at the Waterfront and got in for free, thanks to one of Scott's colleagues from work being on the door. Sadly, one of the older guys was out,and he wouldn't let Henry in with us. He was pissed that Scott wanted to jump the queue with 2,let alone 3! But we got in and Henry had to join the queue that had gone around the corner and up the street. XD
I did see some of my own buddies when I was there, and we shin-digged and cam-whored ;]
So although that is quite brief an entry, and I didn't elaborate on biting rats and eating ice and all the other things that happened, let me compensate my adding a photie =]

I really love it on here. I'm part of alot of communities now,and I think this site is perfect for networking on =]
Today I received some Hello Kitty earrings in the post, which came in their own HK tin. I absolutely adore them! I never used to be into earrings, because of the tomboyish phase I went through, but now I've gone crazy for quirky studs and dangly earrings. I don't reckon much of those muh-assive(!) hoops you can get,I believe you only need them if you have a parrot to perch on them.
At the moment,I am labouring under the last effects of the flu, and a chest infection which has brought back my asthma, dammit! I'm still alive and kicking though, and really enjoying my photography right now, what with my practical work and everything!
Anyways I will leave it there for now, becaue spicy shepherds pue is on the table and my digestive system is calling to me in several different languages!
nomnomnom!

For the first month after blocking and deleting my ex-boyfriend, I kept a close eye on his profile incase he was slandering me (which he probably was privately) or saying threatening things. I don't think it's an emotionally healthy thing to do for a long stretch, though. What's done is done and in my case,I am so glad I washed my hands of him and his childish significant other, because they were bad news with one heck of a chip on their shoulders!
I'm really not quite sure...I'd hate to think that someone is 'cursed', because it doesn't reall make sense.
I agree that some people are more lucky than others, but you have to work hard and be consistent in order to receive some good fortune.
Mind you, I'd have a hard time having an easy friendship with someone with extremist political views such as the BNP.
'Everything Happens For A Reason'
Yes,yes I know it does, but not in a fate way, more due to consequence.
I wish somebody would find something new to say when something happens to someone.
I was super surprised at how well I managed before feeling 100% buggered :D
I successfully cleaned the windows in the conservatory, polished, cleaned the grime out of the bathroom (took an ice age alone!), hoovered a little,floor-swept, and did the washing up :P
I'm a n00b because I enjoyed it :P
and the various tasks, discovering new magical creatures in the process, and a detailed but captivating, mysterious plotline really made this book my favourite =D
I'm a big sucker for Trifle. I love the custard! 'tis just a shame it's only the second layer,as I like to save it until last.
I also enjoy the 'Hot Cookie Dough' which Pizza Hut do. Goodness I do salivate! I can't usually eat anymore after like 4 bites though,it's VERY rich!
I went there as part of my personal studies for my photography course, which I don't kno what I have to be recording exactly, but I'm making myself more aware of the world of art at least.
Some works there,I really liked, and felt incredibly inspired and ambitious after I saw them. Some other works just scared the crap out of me,partly because of my inability to comprehend their message and surrealism. There were some sculptures there are dummies, and those were the one's that creeped me out the most, along with a couple of videos. I walked out feeling like I'd watched a Horror movie (and I HATE horror flicks).
Nevertheless, As I have mentioned, there were one or two pieces of work which I loved! I've still got to go to a few more art galleries, hopefully they won't be so creepy as this one I saw!
...Or maybe it was a bull. A baby one, all bright-eyed,scruffy-coated and keen to follow me through the gate.
"Quick,Emily! That one's following you! *laughter*"
-"eek! *quickens pace whilst repeating the word 'ballacks' to herself in her irrational thought-processing-utensil (a brain, that is.)"
Turns out the little thing only wanted a fussing. Aw.
As funny as the situation was; a herd of cows standing in front of the gateway on a rural public footpath, I didn't feel all that comfortable whilst I was on their side of the gate, and with my thoughts dwelling on the minced beef Mum had stowed away in her shopping bag. Yes the mince was nice,by the way, we had bolognaise, which my Dad ended up wearing like orange lipstick (the effects of the sauce).
Scott, being the man of the group ( Dad was presumably sleeping off a hangover in the caravan, whilst we went to town), dutifully went first, me and Mum scuttling behind. Good grief I'm a wimp!
I took some photies of the curious baby bull (a calf, yes?) to put in my corporeal as a...say....token, from the experience.
Apart from that, another nice weekend at Southwold was had. =]
Jarvis went for a swim before going hyperactive and thinking it would be fun to chew himself off the extension lead and try to run off (he failed XD). Me and Scott had to carry him for half a mile back to the camper, wrapped in a towel like a baby. Lots of people who walked past us went doe-eyed at his cute little facial expression of innocence, his front paws crossed like a cat would. I knew better,I was tutting so much,I could have made myself into a human metronome.
Oh,and embracing my childish side, I bought the collectors book for Hello Kitty pearl cards. Very nice. I'm loving the illustrations, but resenting that everything else Hello Kitty is hellishly expensive and not really worthe the money. ( Yet how can I say this, when behind me,I have a Hello Kitty plushie from Build-a-bear-workshop, sporting a rather fetching summer frock?! Oh wait. I can, because it was a present. *thumbs up*)
Anyway, enough from me, as you can PROBABLY decipher from my prose today, I am feeling in a rather odd mood. Maybe it's the sea air that's done it. Or,most probably, dehydration is rendering me senile...
It happens.
xx
